Other PR – Related Blogs

This week I am writing about my favorite PR related blogs.  One of my absolute favorite topics is that of nutrition, so I wanted to show you a great blog called nutritionunplugged In her blog, Janet Helm works to help people make sense of nutrition.  She is a writer and registered dietitian and was a Media Spokesperson for the American Dietetic Association.

On a side note,  how I found this blog was through the nutrition blog network. If you haven’t checked this sight out, it’s awesome. It’s a one-stop-shop for registered dietitians and their blogs.

Nutritionunplugged is a fantastic blog.  There is also an option for people who are interested in food and nutrition for an #RDchat on Twitter.  Her Twitter is JanetHelm Here’s the link: http://twitter.com/#!/janethelm

In her blog Janet posts links to her favorite food blogs as well as nutrition links. Under links, you’ll also find Tools To Analyze Recipes and Foods. Here’s the link: http://nutritiondata.self.com/

One of my favorite articles of hers is Hard to swallow: Nutrition myths.  Here’s the link: http://www.roanoke.com/entertainment/insideout/eat/wb/109415.  In her article

  1. I think this is a great blog to get connected with! I will definitely have to check it out! I think everyone could use a few tips about keeping up with their nutrition in this day and age of fast food… I know I could. Sometimes we just need guidance and perspective from other people wanting the same goals. We read a lot of mass printed things from a company persuading us to get our nutrition under control, but maybe its reading peoples personal experience and words that would help us to work together!
